Terms of Service

Intellectual Property

All art, products + techniques on this website are the property of Stephanie Martel and intended for personal use + enjoyment only unless other arrangements are made directly.   Enthusiasm about sharing the art is welcome, though!  Please use an image and my name (Stephanie Martel) with a link back to the source of this site, and when possible on social media use #stephaniemartel in conjunction to give proper credit.
Please do not copy, modify, reuse, reproduce any art without written permission (that’s just stealing, you know?)  If you’d like to license an image or expand on a technique used here, please get written permission from me before you do so. I would be happy to work something out!  I can be reached at stephaniemartel@gmail.com

Comments

Comments are meant to build community + pump each other up here!  For that reason, if you post something that is hurtful, rude or totally inappropriate, your comment will be removed.  If you continue to post comments of this nature more than twice, you will be banned from making comments on my site.  (There’s nothing I will post here worth getting upset/making others upset over, so let’s just enjoy the ride, shall we?)

Updates

I review these terms of service every so often so they reflect what’s happening here on the site.  The last time this was updated was: August 26, 2015.

Privacy Policy

I use google analytics to gather information about you, my readers.  It’s done on an anonymous level, but it does tell me the cumulative statistics of where my readers are from and what they are reading on my blog.  I use this information to see what topics/posts are appealing to you and to improve the functionality of my site so you enjoy your time here more.

When you enter in your name and email to my mailing list through Mad Mimi or my site contact form, you are giving me permission to contact you but I will never share this information with anyone else unless it’s required by our terms of service/agreement with those parties, or if we are legally required to by law.  Everyone hates spam!
